Sweetness tastes victory in the Pickem' contest
Once again, Thursday Night Football featured a big upset and this week it was the Bucs who dropped their second upset in a row. HARRISON was one of just 5 players in the league to correctly pick Atlanta to win and this jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. HARRISON put together a stellar run the rest of the day, dropping just 6 points on the Giants and another 2 on the Lions to head into SNF with a lot of confidence. After losing 8 points on the Vikes, HARRISON's lead was modest heading into the finale just 2 points ahead of IL Sweetness XV. Fortunately for him, the Steelers took care of business and HARRISON finished on top of the standings with 120 points to win the week 15 Confidence competition. SarahV finished in second place after coming up just short on the last game and then finishing in second place thanks to the tie breaker over Footben22.
IL Sweetness XV got off to a slow start in the week after losing the Thursday Night game, but he managed to rally to go almost perfect the rest of the way, losing only on the Chiefs. A couple good picks on the Saints and Vikings carried the day for IL Sweetness XV and a Steelers win on MNF assured the week 15 Pickem' crown, finishing as the only player to correctly pick 14 matchups. HARRISON's bid for the week 15 sweep came up just short as he and SarahV both had 13 wins, but SarahV finished in second place as she predicted the final scores of the MNF game exactly correct
Back to a quiet week in the Survivor contest as all 14 players were able to get back in the win column and continue on the week 16. Most of the players had either the Jaguars or the Niners, but a couple Texans and one Bears pick rounded out the field. Dawgman is now just three weeks away from wrapping things up.
