Thanksgiving turned into a blood bath in the UPsP this season. With many players heading into Sunday of week 13 0-4 after 4 straight upsets to start off the week, it was once again a great week to let the default confidence scores ride and hope for the best. That is exactly what Raw Dawgin' did and it helped, but also surviving the Turkey-day and Black Friday massacre with 7 points was a huge factor. Building on his early success, Raw Dawgin' only lost 11 more points the rest of the way (on the Rams) to end with 122 points and take the week 13 Confidence contest victory. Sam V had a very strong start and built a huge lead going into Sunday after earning 14, 15, and 10 points on the Cowboys, Bengals, and Bears, respectively. However, after dropping 4 points on the Falcons and 13 on the Rams, he couldn't keep up with the leader and finished in second place.

As the only player to get to 14 wins, Raw Dawgin' wrapped up the Pickem' contest and the week 13 sweep, thanks in large part to his picks on the Packers, Cowboys, and Jets. Sam V was again in second place as the only player to get 13 wins. Thanksgiving was so rough that zero players were awarded the Turkey trophy for the first time since 2021, compared to the 54 trophies handed out last year.

Despite all the upsets, only two players lost lives this week in the survivor contest. Both players were eliminated from the contest (by the Eagles), so we still have 9 players with both lives remaining with 5 weeks left to go in the season. Most of the winners picked the Chargers over the Raiders, with a few Dolphins and Jaguars mixed in amongst a couple others. It was probably fortunate for most that they had already used the Rams heading into the week.
