deaton held a slim 1-point lead over OmahaSlick heading into MNF, but with one less victory than the two players behind him, it was going to be hard to hold onto the lead. The five points deaton had left to win on the Texans was not enough and 3 players leapt ahead in the standings. OmahaSlick was working on a perfect week until the lowly Jets took a pigeon in the engine and crashed her chance at staying perfect. Fortunately, OmahaSlick only lost 4 points on the matchup and so had plenty of gas left to overtake the leader and hold off the other contenders to finish with 101 points and the week 11 Confidence victory. BGEIDT finished in second place with 95 points, just ahead of Dawgman in third.
Just a Jets win away from being perfect, OmahaSlick was the only player to finish the week with 13 victories to claim the Pickem' crown and secure the week 11 sweep. Solid picks on the Chargers and Steelers, plus a clutch vote of confidence for her favorite Seahawks, set OmahaSlick up with 12 of 13 wins and in the lead after Sunday. As expected, the Texans took care of business in Dallas against the Dak-less Cowboys to push OmahaSlick to the win instead of JMS7 who was tied at 12, but switched to the 'boys in hopes of snatching the sweep away. In the end, JMS7 was caught by 5 other players at 12 wins and Hondo13 finished in second place by one point on the first tie-breaker over Bleedinblue.
Wins by the Vikings, Lions, and Dolphins ensured that all 8 survivors were successful in their bids to stay alive for another week. It has now been six weeks since any of the remaining players have lost a life and Dancer's Dogs has been holding on with his one life since losing all the way back in week 1 on the Bengals. With 6 teams on bye next week (including the Jags), it will be interesting to see who the survivors have available to select from and if they can all find another winner.
